Welcome to The Speaker’s Circle: A New Chapter Begins!
Dear Speaker,
I’m so glad you’re here. You could be anywhere right now, but you chose to be here, in a circle of story sharers. The Speaker’s Circle isn’t just a newsletter; it’s our sacred meeting place. A space for deep thinkers, creatives, and anyone learning to live with intention.
Let me tell you a little story.
When I was 11, I used to interview family members on my grandma’s computer. My little sister Jai and I called it Talk With Your Sister. I’d hit record on the Windows voice memos, ask questions, and create a space for people to speak. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was already doing what I was created to do. Listen deeply, hold space, and lift up stories.
Around the same time, I started writing a book. I scribbled the title on a black and white composition notebook:
“Cheyenne’s Story: A Teenage Life. My New Book.”
That little girl didn’t know much, but she knew her voice mattered. Even when the world tried to convince her otherwise.
Somewhere along the way, life dimmed that light. Through trauma and silence, I forgot how to speak for myself. I tip-toed, shrank, and held my breath. But by God’s grace, therapy, and the steady love of community—I found my voice again.
Now, Ariel Speaks isn’t just a name. It’s a declaration. A reclamation. A promise to myself and others that silence no longer has the final say.
